Earth Magnetic Field weakened
Magnetic power has weakened over a very large part of the Earth.
This part is spread over about 10,000 kilometers. The magnetic field strength has decreased to the outer core of the earth 3000 kilometers below this area. The strength of the magnetic field inside the Earth has reduced in about 10 thousand kilometers from Africa to South America. In general it should have been 32 thousand nanotesla. But from 1970 to 2020 it has reduced from 24 thousand to 22 thousand nanotesla. Nanotaslas are units of measuring magnetic potential.
Concerns of scientists increased by viewing data
The satellite data that scientists have found has made scientists worried. The weakening magnetic field between Africa and South America is troubling them. Scientists said that the magnetic power of the Earth has decreased by nine percent in the last 200 years. Scientists say that a considerable decrease in magnetic strength is being observed from Africa to South America. Scientists call it the South Atlantic Anomaly. According to scientists, change was taking place gradually for two hundred years. That's why the strength of the Earth's magnetic field is decreasing.
Communication from satellites will not happen
This information has been obtained from the satellite space of the European Space Agency (ESA). Due to the weakness in the magnetic field on this part of the earth, it can be difficult to communicate with satellites and flying planes above the earth. Due to this, mobile phones are expected to be shut down. Scientists believe that it is not known to the common people, but it protects us. Harmful powerful magnetic waves coming from the Sun, especially in space, highly charged particles are not able to reach the earth due to this magnetic field which can cause great harm to those living on Earth.
How magnetic field is formed
The thing that is most disturbing to scientists is that the second part which has the lowest intensity is seen in the west of Africa. This indicates that the South Atlantic anamoly can divide into two different cells. According to the ESA, this magnetic field is caused by hot liquid iron flowing into the outer surface layer below the Earth's surface. Recently the ESA scientists had noticed a very clear change in this layer. They had found that the outer surface layers of the Earth started rotating in comparison to the surface.

कमजोर हुई पृथ्वी मैग्नेटिक फील्ड
धरती के एक बहुत बड़े हिस्से में चुंबकीय शक्ति कमजोर हो गई है।
यह हिस्सा करीब 10 हजार किलोमीटर में फैला है। इस इलाके के 3000 किलोमीटर नीचे धरती के आउटर कोर तक चुंबकीय क्षेत्र की शक्ति में कमी आई है। अफ्रीका से लेकर दक्षिण अमेरिका तक करीब 10 हजार किलोमीटर की दूरी में धरती के अंदर मैग्नेटिक फील्ड की ताकत कम हो चुकी है। सामान्य तौर पर इसे 32 हजार नैनोटेस्ला होनी चाहिए थी। लेकिन सन् 1970 से 2020 तक यह घटकर 24 हजार से 22 हजार नैनोटेस्ला तक जा पहुंची है। नैनोटेस्लास चुंबकीय क्षमता मापने की इकाई होती है।
आंकड़ें देखकर वैज्ञानिकों की चिंताएं बढ़ीं
वैज्ञानिकों को जो सैटेलाइट डाटा मिले हैं उसने वैज्ञानिकों को चिंता में डाल दिया है। अफ्रीका और साउथ अमेरिका के बीच कमजोर होती मैग्नेटिक फील्ड उन्हें परेशान कर रही है। वैज्ञानिकों ने बताया कि पिछले 200 सालों में धरती की चुंबकीय शक्ति में नौ प्रतिशत की कमी आई है। वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि अफ्रीका से दक्षिण अमेरिका तक चुंबकीय शक्ति में काफी कमी देखी जा रही है। साइंटिस्ट इसे साउथ अटलांटिक एनोमली कहते हैं। वैज्ञानिकों के मुताबिक बदलाव दो सौ सालों से धीरे-धीरे हो रहा था। इसलिए ही पृथ्वी की चुंबकीय क्षेत्र की शक्ति कम होती जा रही है।
नहीं हो पाएगा सैटेलाइट्स से कम्युनिकेशन
ये जानकारी यूरोपियन स्पेस एजेंसी (ईएसए) के सैटेलाइट स्वार्म से मिली है। धरती के इस हिस्से पर चुंबकीय क्षेत्र में आई कमजोरी की वजह से धरती के ऊपर तैनात सैटेलाइट्स और उड़ने वाले विमानों के साथ कम्युनिकेशन करना मुश्किल हो सकता है। इस वजह से ही मोबाइल फोन बंद होने की आशंका जताई जा रही है। वैज्ञानिकों का मानना है कि आम लोगों को इसका पता नहीं चलता, लेकिन यह हमारी रक्षा करता है। अंतरिक्ष में खास तौर पर सूर्य से आने वाली हानिकारक शक्तिशाली चुंबकीय तरंगे, अति आवेशित कण इसी चुंबकीय क्षेत्र के कारण धरती पर नहीं पहुंच पाते हैं जिनसे धरती पर रहने वालों को काफी नुकसान हो सकता है।
कैसे बनता है चुंबकीय क्षेत्र
जो बात वैज्ञानिकों को सबसे ज्यादा परेशान कर रही है वह है कि दूसरा हिस्सा जहां पर सबसे कम तीव्रता है वह अफ्रीका के पश्चिम में नजर आ रहा है। इसका संकेत है कि साउथ अटलांटिक एनामोली दो अलग-अलग सेल्स में बंट सकता है। ईएसए के मुताबिक, यह चुंबकीय क्षेत्र पृथ्वी की सतह के नीचे की बाहरी सतह वाली परत में बह रहे गर्म तरल लोहे के कारण बनता है। हाल ही में ईएसए वैज्ञानिकों ने इस परत में बहुत साफ बदलाव देखा था। उन्होंने पाया था कि पृथ्वी की बाहरी सतह की परतें सतह की तुलना में घूमने लगी हैं।
